Dr. Shih-Chueh Kao
Office: Faculty of Media & Knowledge Science, Room  317

Shih-Chueh Kao completed his first degree in theatre stage design at National Taiwan University of Arts and went to UK for his PhD in 3D graphics. He has worked as a 3D graphical perception scientist at the University of Leeds and a teaching associate at the University of Southampton. He is an Autodesk qualified expert in Autodesk Maya and held memberships in ACM SIGGRAPH in Taipei and The Stereoscopic Society in UK.

Research interests:

Shih-Chueh's current research interests are based on the expansion from his PhD project, "Colour and scene design for digital stereoscopic 3D content", particularly in binocular depth perception evaluation, saturation changes in stereo enhancement, psychophysical thresholds in visual perception and scene design in computer animation.
