Our Office is responsible for the content of the main UM website and the implementation of the UM web design template for the UM subsites.

The Guidelines on the UM website and subsites: Content strategy   document gives a detailed overview of how the University of Malta (UM) website templates are used in line with UM’s brand strategy and as a means to guide through the many intricate processes required to make content matter. This document provides a detailed overview of the structure and layout of the UM website and its subsites together with good practices related to the UM brand.

All UM staff who are responsible for maintaining the UM website and its subsites are to refer to this document, namely

  • Content Owner/Coordinator: refers to the members of staff who are responsible for any website content pertaining to the FICSD.
  • Content Editor: refers to the members of staff who populate, edit and publish content, as defined/structured by the Content Owner, on the UM branded websites using the content management system (CMS)
