~ The Economic Situation in Spain: Fiscal Consolidation and Structural Reforms ~

On 10th March 2014, MEDAC students attended a seminar organized by the Embassy of Spain together with the Malta Enterprise on the theme ‘The Economic Situation in Spain: Fiscal consolidation and Structural Reforms’. The seminar was addressed by H. E. Felipe de la Morena, Ambassador of Spain to Malta and by Professor Gonzalo Escribano, a Professor of Applied Economics at the Spanish Open University (UNED) and Senior Analyst of the Real Instituto Elcano; and a visiting lecturer at MEDAC in International Eonomics.




Scholarships MA Diplomatic Studies for 3rd country Nationals (non-EU/non-EEA)

Candidates applying for the Master of Arts in Diplomatic Studies will be considered for a scholarship offered by the University of Malta. The scholarship waives the University of Malta tuition fee to deserving students.

How to apply? Applicants are to apply through the online facility on the University of Malta website at The scholarship request is to be submitted following the receipt of a letter of acceptance for commencement in 2018. Scholarship applicants are to send an email to the International Office at with the Applicant ID and 'University of Malta Application' in subject line. Applicants are to attach the following documents to the email: their Curriculum Vitae and a motivational letter.
