Visit to MEDAC by the Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina:

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Hon. Igor CRNADAK visited the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies on July 27th 2016. He was accompanied by Minister Counsellor Igor Basic and Ambassador Zeljana Zovko and Malta's Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Saviour Borg.

During the visit the Hon. Minister CRNADAK briefed Professor Stephen Calleya, Director of MEDAC, Dr. Derek Lutterbeck, Holder of the Swiss Chair, and Dr. Omar Grech, Co-ordinator of the Human Dimension Programme and Lecturer in International Law, about Bosnia and Herzegovina's foreign policy agenda and regional relations across the Balkans. An elaborate overview of Bosnia's relations with the European Union was presented including most recent developments in Bosnia's efforts to become a member of the EU.

The occasion was also an opportunity to brief the Hon. Minister CRNADAK and the distinguished delegation from Bosnia about MEDAC's forthcoming academic activities and provide an update about MEDAC's dynamic alumni network which includes former students from Bosnia.
