Born: London, 19/07/1962.

Educated: St. Aloysius College [Malta], University of Malta, University of Warwick [U.K.].  Furthered specialised medical training in the Cliniques Universitaires St. Raphael/Gasthuisberg [Leuven, Belgium].

Qualifications: Medical Doctorate [University of Malta, 1986], Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists [U.K., 1992], Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland [Ireland, 1994], Member of the Institute of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists [Ireland, 1992], Doctor of Medical Education [Warwick, U.K., 2002], Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists [U.K., 2004], Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland [Ireland, 2009], Accreditation Certificate in Obstetrics-Gynaecology [S.A.C., Malta, 2003].

Current employment: Consultant Obstetrician-Gynaecologist, Department of Health, Malta; Senior Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine & Surgery, University of Malta; Specialist Obstetrician-Gynaecologist in Private Practice. Currently serves as a Founder member of SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society), the ENDO Support Group (Endometriosis Society), the Peripheral Neurosensory Group; and as Scientific Officer of Malta Osteoporosis Society and Malta College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Research Interests: Collagen disorders; menopause & climacteric; bone metabolism; Gynaecological Endocrinology;  Endometriosis and Menstrual Disorders; Premature Labour;  Shoulder Dystocia.
