Medical Cannabis World Forum 2018

The Department of Pharmacy plays a key role in facilitating innovative developments in the area of pharmacy and medicinal products through education and research. In line with this mission, the Department is pleased to announce that complimentary registration is available to students interested in participating at the Medical Cannabis World Forum 2018 being held on the 20-21 November 2018 at the Malta Mediterranean Conference CentreThe Medical Cannabis World Forum will bring together experts from around the globe and focus on five pillars: Legislation, Business, Regulatory, Education & ResearchThis is an opportunity for students to reflect on current procedures, regulation and legislation of medical cannabis use in different countries, to understand benefits and risks associated with cannabis, to learn about innovative clinical pharmaceutical dosage forms and application and to realise potential for further research in the area.

No lectures and other academic activities are scheduled during this event.

Students interested to attend need to pre-register by sending an email to Amanda Calleja on indicating Name and Surname, Course and Year of Study and putting Pre-Registration for Medical Cannabis World Forum in Subject.



Students are hereby notified that they have to bring with them an acceptable proof of identity either a Malta ID cardPassport or a University Library card at every exam.

With reference to Regulation 33 (2) that states that:

"Students who are not able to provide acceptable proof of identity may be permitted to continue the Examination provided that they undertake to produce verification of their identity within a reasonable period, normally on the same day of the Examination. If Verification is not provided, the matter shall be referred to the Assessment Disciplinary Board."

The invigilator will inform the Faculty Officer as soon as they see that a student does not have the required identification document.
