iGaming Academy sponsors AEGEE-Valletta's Summer University: "MaltEasers Ahoy!"

This summer AEGEE-Valletta, a leading non-profit making student organisation, is once again embarking on a two week project, the Summer University. The project is endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Culture, and will welcome forty-five participants from all over Europe, to our islands.

Summer Universities are unique international summer courses, successfully carried out by AEGEE already for 20 years! Every year, around 100 cities across Europe host multicultural groups of 20-50 young people who together enjoy the wonders of cultural variety. Their  focus  varies from art,, history, and languages to nature and sports. The aim of cultural bridging is deeply embedded in the foundations of such a project, and in fact it is a great way for young people to come together and enrich their personalities, by sharing their cultural baggage.

This year The Maltese antenna has high-spirited volunteers, who have been working hard to unravel the beauties of our islands to the participants arriving in August. A full program has been organised and includes a variety of ventures, such as cultural visits, Maltese language course, European night, and a Maltese night. Malta's vast cultures will be presented through the islands rich history, typical cuisine, distinctive architecture and the friendly Mediterranean environment.

For such a project be prolific, AEGEE-Valletta strongly relies on the help of private entities. This year, I-gaming academy have generously sponsored this event.

The iGaming Academy, founded in 2006, has already established itself as a leading provider of customized courses and training & development programs for existing and start-up iGaming operators. Their services, consultancy and intuitive methods have benefited companies and individuals in the fast-moving iGaming sector. The iGaming Academy provides a wealth of training opportunities which are constantly updated to reflect businesses needs.

The director of this multi national company has genuinely expressed her interest in our project. She stressed that she would like to give something outside of her jurisdiction, an outside the usual iGaming "sphere". Through contributing to this event, iGaming is promoting the beauties of the Maltese islands, and therefore giving its gratitude to the local community.

In doing so, one of the very main aims of AEGEE-Valletta is fulfilled as an organisation from a local level is directly involved with the European Working Groups, Project Teams and Commissions. It is for this reason that such an event is a success both for the local antenna as well as the Maltese islands.

AEGEE Valletta would also like to thank Gnuff, Cisk Export, Master Group, the Ministry of Education & Culture, the Italian Embassy & Culture Institute, the Austrian Embassy, Marsaxlokk Local Council and the Gozo Channel for the support shown towards this event.
