The Strada Stretta Concept, under the auspices of the Valletta 2018 Foundation, presents, the event, 'Opera under Stretta Stars', under the artistic direction of Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci - with Spanish tenor and actor Moisés Molín, Maltese baritone Ken Scicluna and pianist Sofia Narmania.

Moisés Molín
Spanish tenor and actor, he studied in Bologna with Paride Venturi and in Saint Petersburg (Russia) with Elena Rubin. From 2000-2004, he trained as an actor at the Juan Carlos Corazza Actor’s Studio and he obtained in 2009 a BA in singing at the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid.
Lyric-spinto tenor with a voice in continuous development, he has attended master classes with prestigious opera professionals. Moisés has successfully performed the roles of Alfredo, Ismaele,
Cassio, Canio, Riccardo, Cavaradossi, Turiddu, Florestan, Pinkerton, Calaf and Don José.
During these initial debut years Moises has appeared in over a thousand concerts and he has gained valuable experience performing leading roles in more than two hundred opera productions in Spain, France, Austria, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Russia, Japan, Israel, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Greece, Romania, Serbia and Portugal.
Ken Scicluna
Ken Scicluna has been active in the visual and performing arts scene from an early age, one of the youngest presenters of Classical and Opera radio programmes on local stations and appeared initially as an actor, later in singing roles in theatrical productions and also scripting, producing and directing three short films in his teenage years. Ken was the first ever Maltese singer to have studied at the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in St. Petersburg, Russia accepted in the class of legendary Kirov/Maarinsky tenor, Yuri Marusin. He also attended master-classes by Cheryl Studer, Sergei Leiferkus, Fabio Mastrangelo and Magda Mkrtchyan.
The event will be held at Splendid, Strada Stretta, Valletta.
