Science In The Citadel, Gozo’s own free Science Festival, will be happening again on Saturday 28 April 2018, from 10:00 to 20:00.

- a bigger interactive Science Fair occupying the Ditch, where you can join in many experiments, demonstrations and games;
- exciting shows using puppets, musical instruments and science comedy;
- plenty of talks and seminars on topics as diverse as innovative farming, sustainable energy, therapy from bees, maritime archaeology, Einstein’s work and how astronomy helps with the search for meaning;
- workshops/exhibitions for adults and children looking at unleashing creativity, the science behind art, colour and photography, beekeeping, the human body, the curation of natural history and archaeology and computer coding
- Brain Rave – an interactive installation where you can create real music from your mind!
New this year, there is the Incubator area where you can further the interests you have developed during the day by finding out how to advance them through studying, career change or even setting up your own business, and talk to entrepreneurs, employers and experts in the field about what it’s like working in science and technology on Gozo and Malta.
