Friends of Mr Terry Gosden are sad to inform members of the University of his death on 7 November. He was 62. Terry will be especially remembered for his work with Suret Il-Bniedem, his role as Manager of Marsa Open Centre from 2004 to 2008, and his work as Third Country National Specialist at the GWU from 2008 to 2010.
He also hosted and helped a number of students doing research for their dissertations, first as manager of the shelter for homeless men in Gzira, and later as Manager of Marsa Open Centre for Immigrants.
We are organising a memorial meeting in Terry's honour on Sunday 16 December, from 12:30 to 14:00, at 210 Old Bakery Street, Valletta (corner with the St Andrew's Scots Church in South Street). It is an opportunity for those who remember Terry's work to come together and exchange memories.
If you would like to join us in remembering Terry, perhaps to share your memories of him, and his contributions to the welfare of asylum seekers or to residential social care in Malta, you are welcome to join us. (The date was changed to the 16 December as we would like to Terrry's family to be present.)
