Event: Another season of discussing Science and Movies: CineXjenza

Films on gender (in)equality, physics and mental health will be screened from this October as the ĊineXjenza initiative enters its 8th season. In a series of monthly events, film screenings will be followed by discussions with prominent scientists and experts at the Spazju Kreattiv cinema.
This season’s six events will host topics ranging from artificial intelligence in the context of society to the destructive force of the dairy industry.
Below are the series of films and discussion in this seasons ĊineXjenza:
- 18 October: Screening of Coded Bias, discussion on discrimination and biases in artificial intelligence.
- 15 November: Screening of Einstein and Eddington, discussion on relativity theory and its proofs.
- 13 December: Screening of Stand and Deliver, discussion on mathematical teaching.
- 21 February: Screening of Milked, discussion on the impact of the dairy industry.
- 14 March: Screening of Beautiful Boy, discussion about drugs and addiction
- 18 April: Screening of Picture a Scientist, discussion about gender inequality in science.
