Event: Symposium on Innovation in Surgery (SIS) by the Department of Anatomy

The Department of Anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Malta, in collaboration with the European Association of Endoscopic Surgery (EAES), will be hosting two hands-on gastro-intestinal surgery courses and one ultrasound course, as part of the Symposium on Innovation in Surgery (SIS) and the EAES Winter meeting. This meeting is hosted by the Laparoscopic Society of Malta and the Postgraduate Training Centre Malta.
The symposium and workshops will be held from 26 to 28 January 2023. Prof. Jean Calleja-Agius, Head of Department of Anatomy, will be chairing the session entitled ‘Surgical AI is the future of minimal invasive surgery’, and the meeting will be attended by distinguished and renowned speakers.
