Ħiliet il-Komunitá in collaboration with l-Għeruq tal-Komunitá (Residents’ Board) are organising a Festival ta' Ħiliet Vallettani. The idea emerged from the residents themselves to celebrate the skills, talent and wealth of the Valletta community.

The focus of this Festival is (1) to bring attention to local resources and assets, (2) to promote the importance of life-long, intergenerational and family learning and (3) to create a platform where everybody can contribute to the common good. This festival will take place between 29 May 2023 until 3 June 2023 in Valletta where there will be diverse events and activities promoting these aims.

This exhibition of talents and skills in the House of Catalunya, Marsamxetto Street in Valletta on Friday 2 June 2023 between 10:00 and 18:00 and Saturday 3 June between 10:00 and 13:00. This will consist of different exhibitions such as art, photography, crafts, woodwork, gloves, crochet, among others.

Ħiliet il-Komunità forms part of the Foundation for Social Welfare Services, and is a project part-financed by the European Regional Development Funds which focuses on the social dimension of the urban regeneration of Lower Valletta.
