The Malta Association of Gastroenterology, with the support of Mater Dei Hospital, is organising two events to mark World Coeliac Disease Day and Awareness Month - an evening update for patients and relatives and another event aimed at doctors and healthcare professionals.

These events will be led by Dr Martina Sciberras, Consultant Gastroenterologist and current PhD researcher in Coeliac Disease at the University of Malta. An international guest speaker Prof. Carolina Ciacci - Full Professor of Gastroenterology at University of Salerno, Italy with a demonstrated history of working in the clinical research field and expert in Coeliac Disease will be an international guest speaker at the event.
