What is POĊEMUĊKA?
почему́чка (počemúčka) - 'A person who asks a lot of questions.'
Počemúčka, a Russian word with no direct translation in any other language. Its particular nuance cannot be grasped by any tongue other than its own. Art seeks to express that which man cannot articulate by any other means. It uses the ordinary to communicate the subtleties of the human condition and reaches for the heart, the mind, and the soul. This exhibition will bring together 23 separate exhibitions, which will be happening around the island during May.
Exhibition opens on 2 June, 2017 and runs until 16 June, at the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences at the University of Malta, Msida Campus.
