Sensing the lunar surface environment with Prof. Charles Galdies
In the past few years, space-related research and advancements have been all over the news and social media. From new reusable rocket boosters to the first-ever detection of gravitational waves and from the James Webb space telescope to our eventual return to the moon, there have been a lot of amazing updates in the world of space. But what about our local contributions? There too a lot of work has been carried out and is currently underway. For this reason, The Astronomical Society of Malta (ASM) and the Institute of Space Sciences and Astronomy (ISSA) have come together along with Esplora to present the Space Lecture Series.
Three sessions of three talks each about the Maltese space-related research being done. Half the speakers will PhD researchers from ISSA and the other half are from citizen science projects carried out by members of ASM.
