Embark on an exploration of the world of Missejt il-Qiegħ, an audio-visual installation that blends human emotions and experiences with the power of technology. Discover how this project invites viewers to connect deeply with a distressed painting, evoking empathy and forging meaningful connections. Experience the seamless integration of current display technology and emotive themes, as the installation sparks introspection, engagement, and a renewed appreciation for the profound narratives conveyed by the art object. Missejt il-Qiegħ is a digital art project created through a thoughtful process of reflection as part of a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Arts program.
Speaker’s Profile
Manuel Ciantar is the Director of Corporate & Creative Media Services at Studioseven, a Malta-based audio-visual service company that constantly searches for new ways to draw and maintain audience engagement across multiple platforms. Recently, he was appointed head of the Studioseven Audio-visual Academy, which provides specialized training for the AV industry. Ciantar is a technical photographer in the field of cultural heritage and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Arts program at the Department of Digital Arts, Faculty of Media & Knowledge Sciences, University of Malta.
