The Mediterranean nearly dried up almost 6 million years ago. Today, Antarctica's delicate ecosystem is being ravaged by climate change as one of the fastest warming regions on Earth.

This event highlights two projects funded by National Geographic, one examining a historic Mediterranean flood and the other studying submarine groundwater discharge in Antarctica.
