For the second time round, educational institutions involved in the teaching of German are organising an educational fair on 29 and 30 October between 09:00 and 13:30 to promote the language.
Following an invitation from the Department of German at the University of Malta, the Education Department and the German Maltese Circle, around 1000 pupils will visit St Margaret’s College, Boys’ Secondary School, Verdala, in Cospicua and learn about the German culture and the language in an informal and fun way. Their creativity will come into play, while taking part in activities, quizzes and games and various prizes can be won. The fair will also see the first German letter box in Malta and 1000 postcards of Germany being sent to various locations in Malta.

Thanks to the financial support of the Foreign Office of the German Embassy, the Austrian Embassy and other locally based companies having German connections a varied programme is planned on both days:
