This 3rd Annual Research conference will include presentations and workshops on innovative research by students, academics, professionals and other guest speakers. We look forward to welcoming practitioners, academics and students in the fields of counselling, psychology, social work, education, health sciences and other helping professions. This year’s Key-note Speech on SUICIDE PREVENTION will be delivered by Dr Andrew Reeves, Chair of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). Dr Reeves will also be running a workshop on SUICIDE PREVENTION during the conference.
Dr Andrew Reeves is a Senior Lecturer for Masters, PhD and Professional Doctorate students in counselling and psychotherapy at the University of Chester, author, editor, supervisor (of clinical work and research) and a BACP Senior Accredited counsellor/psychotherapist with over 25 years experience working in a range of settings, including: secondary mental health care; child protection; with vulnerable adults; higher education; and in schools. He is a Fellow of BACP. He is series editor for a new series of books by Sage (Essential Issues in Counselling and Psychotherapy). He was Editor of Counselling and Psychotherapy Research journal for six years and Lead Author for the Counselling MindEd project.
