Biographical Note
Pietro Perconti is Professor of Philosophy of mind at the University of Messina, Italy. Perconti studied philosophy at the Universities of Palermo and Berlin (Freie Universität). Among recent appointments abroad, Perconti has been visiting scholar at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour (Radboud University Nijmegen, Netherlands), and the New York University. Perconti’s main research fields are on social cognition, consciousness, and the social role of cognitive science.
