The Department of Information Policy and Governance of the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Science at the University of Malta is co-organising a seminar, together with GVZH Advocates and the Chamber of Advocates on the theme of E-commerce: Are you ready for the next wave? The implications of the GDPR and privacy laws for businesses and lawyers.

The seminar will focus on the ever-growing concerns which accompany the development of e-commerce techniques, shedding specific light on recent and upcoming legal innovations, in particular the coming into force of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in May 2018, along with other privacy and data protection issues which follow the evolution of the e-commerce world.
