The Institute of Earth Systems is holding the second edition of its Earth Systems Graduate Launchpad on Monday 1 July between 10:00 and 13:00.
The event will consist of oral presentations by students showcasing recent research projects on aspects of Earth Systems science. A number of posters will also be exhibited, as well as a selection of students’ photos from a field study trip to Tenerife earlier this year.
The topics being presented reflect the wide-ranging nature of the study of Earth Systems and include student research on geophysics, coastal geomorphology, meteorology, renewable energy generation, sustainability issues, biodiversity conservation, land-use change, and the management of natural resources.
