The Department of Physics, the Institute of Space Sciences & Astronomy (ISSA) and the Royal Astronomical Society present 'The life of Galaxies', a thrilling and exciting event where attendees will be able to ask questions about our own and distant galaxies to an international panel of speakers.
Four leading experts, Prof. Joss Bland-Hawthorn who is the Director of the Sydney Institute for Astronomy, University of Sydney, Australia, Prof. Philip Fajardo Hopkins from the Theoretical Astrophysics at the California Institute of Technology, Dr Karen Masters from the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation at the University of Portsmouth and Prof. Lars Hernquist from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics will be tackling questions from the attendees. The panel will be moderated by Dr Victor Debattista from the University of Central Lancashire.
