The CPD committee is organising a series of online discussions to share our experiences and practices in remote teaching and learning. The use of different set ups and applications will also be discussed. All members of staff are encouraged to participate and share their experiences as the success of such events depends upon your valuable participation. We look forward to see you online.
Session 1: A discussion on hardware set up and virtual whiteboards.
The speakers will introduce the setting up of a Wacom graphics tablet and discuss the use of applications such as OneNote and OpenBoard. These applications are free and may be used as virtual interactive whiteboards. They allow educators to interact with students by creating live content, importing PDF files for annotation using pens, highlighters, erasers and more. Teachers can create interactive content and increase student engagement.
An open discussion will be held in order to share other applications and become exposed to different ways of how to enrich our classroom experience.
Speakers: Reuben Cauchi, Elton Stivala and Jean Pierre Tabone Adami
Date: Wednesday 27 January 2021 at 14:00
A certificate of participation listing attended CPD events will be awarded.
