Following last year's positive experience by our students, applications for Songcraft organised by Spazju Kreattiv and Aġenżija Żgħażagħ are open.
Songcraft, a project forming part of Spazju Kreattiv’s programme returns, following the success of the pilot project in 2019. In collaboration with Aġenżija Żgħażagħ, this project acts as the perfect opportunity for up-and-coming singer-songwriters between the ages of 16 and 20.
The chosen singer-songwriters are to experience a process of mentorship with three established musical artists from the local music scene, which are Alison Galea (Etnika, Beangrowers, and The shh), Alexandra Alden (singer-songwriter and X Factor Malta judge) and Matthew James (singer-songwriter and former Red Electric frontman). This project’s primary aims are to build and enhance the participants’ talents as well as gearing them towards reaching a professional level in their career.
During this time participants will gain knowledge in the creative side of music creation and performance as well as learning different ways of how to enable their music to reach potential audiences.
