Aġenzija Żgħażagħ is organising a webinar on the subject of Youth Activism in Malta. Standing up to be an activist is not only an act of courage, but presents challenges on various fronts. Join us as we ask our panel about the challenges related with youth activism, how best to support youth activists and the role of youth organisations in supporting youth activists. The panel will also elaborate on the changes in activist repertoire over the past year as the pandemic forced all to a change in tactic and more use of the online platforms. How will these changes continue to evolve?
The panel members for Youth Activism in Malta, are Dr Michael Briguglio (Senior Lecturer, UM Dept of Sociology), Dr Maria Pisani (Senior Lecturer, UM Dept of Youth Studies), Ms Antonella Bugeja (EYCA Youth Activist) and Mr Steve Zammit Lupi (Youth Activist). Those attending this event will have the opportunity to interact with the panel members and raise their own questions on the subject.
Date: 31 May 2021
Time: 17:30pm - 19:30pm
