After two years of absence due to the pandemic, the Diversity Committee once again organised an awareness raising activity on the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT) which is celebrated every year on 17 May.
Together with the Malta LGBTIQ Rights Movement (MGRM), the JC Diversity Committee set up a stand in the JC Foyer to highlight the importance of embracing gender and sexual diversity. They also provided information about the services offered by the JC Diversity Committee and by the MGRM. Students could also ask questions, buy rainbow cakes and merchandise with the LGBTIQ theme.
The rainbow cake and the muffins were baked by Ms Jacqueline Rotin and Ms Natasha Galea.
