The Institute of Earth Systems, in collaboration with Wasteserv and the Edward De Bono Institute for Creative Thinking and Innovation, is organising a hackathon titled ‘What the Hack? – Tackling Food Waste’.
Participation in the hackathon is open to students from all sixth form colleges in Malta and Gozo. The winning teams will be awarded prizes in the form of vouchers to the value of €1000 for the team in first place and €500 to the team placing second. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
Should you wish to participate, kindly send an email to Ms Jacqueline Rotin, Chairperson of the Environmental Committee and Home Economics Lecturer. A preparation session on the theme will be organized for all those who would like to participate.
