Open Day 2026

The Open Day programme is now available. (Kindly note that the programme is being continuously updated. Please check the programme again closer to the date for any changes that might have happened).

The Junior College Open Day will be held on Friday 6 March 2026 between 17:30 and 21:00, offering prospective students and their families the opportunity to experience College life first-hand.

IMPORTANT:

1. Note that the last session of the day finishes at 15:00.

2. The Study Area will be closed at 12:00 

Throughout the evening, the Campus will be open to visitors, who will be able to explore the facilities, visit classrooms and laboratories, and meet subject coordinators, lecturers, administrators and current students. The programme — which is currently being finalised — will include a wide range of interactive activities, talks, demonstrations and exhibitions across all subject areas.


Visitors can expect subject-specific talks, short performances, quizzes and competitions, hands-on scientific experiments, live demonstrations, student artwork exhibitions, and interactive workshops. There will be opportunities to tour the Library, attend presentations, observe live music performances, watch theatre rehearsals, participate in games and activities, and engage directly with departments through informal meet-and-greet sessions. Various student organisations and committees will also host information stands, showcasing the vibrant extracurricular life at JC.

From science labs featuring experiments and demonstrations, to creative arts displays, business and technology showcases, language activities, social science discussions, sports activities and enrichment initiatives, the Open Day is designed to reflect both the academic and community aspects of the College experience.

The programme will also include a meeting with the Principal in the Auditorium, offering an overview of the JC experience and what students can expect during their two years at the College.

The Junior College Open Day is an important opportunity for prospective students to gather information, ask questions and make informed decisions about their post-secondary education in an engaging and welcoming environment.
