Farmers’ haven at UM: The KSU Farmers’ Market

On Thursday 30 October 2025, the Quadrangle came to life thanks to the KSU Farmers’ Market, an event which saw several stands selling fresh produce.

The Earth Systems Association (ESA) was also present at the event, which saw tens and hundreds of members of the University of Malta community flock to the area to purchase fresh produce, golden honey, homemade ġbejna and sea salt, among other fresh products.

Mr Andre Vella from the Malta Food Agency called this market a great way of making locally-grown products more accessible to the general public.

What a perfect way to usher in the Autumn season!
