The acclaimed exhibition LOOK AT ME: Framing the Iconic by internationally renowned photographer Lorenzo Agius enters its final week at Spazju Kreattiv, Valletta, closing on Saturday 2 November 2025. Curated by Associate Professor Charlene Vella from the Department of Art and Art History, University of Malta, the exhibition has drawn exceptional public and media attention since its opening on 12 September.
LOOK AT ME brings to Malta a collection of Agius’ most celebrated portraits — from cinematic icons such as Ewan McGregor, Jude Law, Jack Nicholson, Will Smith and Helena Bonham Carter, to singers and musicians such as Madonna, the Spice Girls, Keith Richards and Gwen Stefani. The exhibition explores how the photographer captures celebrity, identity, and emotion through an intimate and distinctly human lens.
Prof. Vella’s curatorial approach highlights Lorenzo’s ability to transform familiar faces into timeless studies of character and light. The exhibition has been widely praised for its depth, accessibility, and striking presentation in the heart of Valletta’s cultural hub.
Members of the public still have the opportunity to visit the exhibition at Spazju Kreattiv until 2 November 2025. Admission is free.
