On Thursday 12 February, staff and students took part in the Giovedì Gras Cultural Tour at the historic Teatru Manoel, marking the Carnival season with a unique journey through theatre, history, and tradition.
The guided experience was led by Jeremy Grech, who offered engaging and detailed insights into the theatre’s remarkable past. His vivid storytelling brought the space to life, making the tour both informative and memorable for all those present.
From the theatre’s rich history to the vibrant traditions of Carnival, participants explored costumes, stories, and the cultural heritage that continues to shape this festive season. The visit highlighted how Carnival has long been intertwined with performance, creativity, and community, reinforcing its enduring cultural significance.
