Our efforts to reduce unnecessary consumption of such consumables and address principles to reuse, reduce, repurpose or recycle materials need to continue. Since COVID, we have made great strides by minimising printing of assignments and dissertations and investing in WISEflow for paperless examinations and assessment.
In collaboration with IT Services, the Office of the Pro-Rector for Sustainability is pleased to promote updates to the printing and digital workflows. We continue to encourage everyone to consider carefully whether documents need to be printed rather than stored and/or shared appropriately as soft copies. Where printing of documents, or even multiple printing of a single document is indispensable, you are kindly requested to follow the latest recommendations which our colleagues at IT Services are promoting.
Using resources sustainably and as necessary is everyone’s responsibility.
