We were happy to host another cohort of 11 students pursuing the dual MA Conflict Resolution & Mediterranean Security degree programme offered with George Mason University's School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution. As part of this programme we organised visits to Parliament, the European Asylum Support Office as well as the Embassy of Ireland. Our students also made good use of the Gozo Campus with part of the Environmental Conflict module being delivered there over a 3-day period.
We published an e-book titled 'Contemporary Issues in Conflict Resolution' ... Organised a number of public lectures addressing diverse issues ranging from media and terrorism to Trump's politics ... Cooperated with the Department of International Relations in organising a lecture on post-conflict justice, while together with the International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law we hosted a seminar on Countering Terrorism Through the Rule of Law ... We also collaborated with KSU offering a 2-day faciitation skills training for students on campus ... Celebrated the upcoming 10th anniversary of the dual Masters programme with an alumni event at the George Mason University Arlington Campus ... and most recently we hosted the kick-off meeting of the Russia-USA-EU Trialogue with colleagues from American University, Russian International Affairs Council and George Mason University.
