Professor Frank Bezzina (Dean, FEMA) and Professor Vincent Cassar (Deputy Dean, FEMA) were keynote speakers at the 4th Dubronvik International Economic Meeting (DIEM) organised by the Department of Economics and Business Economics of the University of Dubrovnik in Croatia between the 27 and 28 September 2019.
The DIEM conference is a biennial conference and the chosen theme for this year was 'Global Trends and Challenges in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution'. The title of their keynote speech was 'Against all odds: Digging up evidence in Management Practice'. Other keynote speakers were Professor Vanessa Druskat from the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH, USA and Professor Erskin Blunck from Neurtingen-Geislingen University, Germany.
The conference was attended by 150 academics and practitioners from 21 different countries. The University of Malta is a collaborating partner institution of this conference.
