The evolution and escalation of conflict in our times is undoubtedly one of the most important challenges we have as a society.
Simply taking look at Malta’s rich history as an island being surrounded by the Mediterranean sea gives individuals a unique point of view when it comes to the significance of understanding, analysing and resolving conflicts. But while our responsibility to contain this through mediation, negotiation and peace-building is shared, contributing to the scientific discussion on this issue and ultimately transforming cultures is a quality of the select few.
