The Institute of Anglo-Italian Studies is pleased to announce that volume 17 of the Journal of Anglo-Italian Studies has now been published. This issue of the Journal is the latest in a series of issues which have been consistently published since 1991. The Journal has since then established itself as one of the leading journals in this interdisciplinary field of studies.

Lawrence's Search for Wholeness of Being: From Twilight in Italy to The Lost Girl' by Renzo D'Agnillo, 'Multitudes of Otherness: Italian and Indian Crowds in Forster's Where Angels Fear to Tread and A Passage to India' by Francesca Pierini, and 'Goffredo Parise and the Female Figure: An Italian Writer's Encounter with American Post-Physiognomy' by Lucia Rodler. The General Editor is Prof. Peter Vassallo, Chair of the Institute and the Volume Editor is Prof. Gloria Lauri-Lucente, Director of the Institute. The Advisory Committee of the Journal is made up of Peter Vassallo and Gloria Lauri-Lucente together with other scholars of international repute in this field of study, namely Piero Boitani (Rome), Lilla Crisafulli (Bologna), David Farley-Hills (Swansea), John Gatt-Rutter (La Trobe), Nick Havely (York), Francesco Marroni (Pescara), Sergio Rossi (Milan), Corinna Lonergan (Dublin), Valeria Tinkler-Villani (Leiden) and John Woodhouse (Oxford).
