The Faculty for Social Wellbeing organised its annual Faculty Conference with the theme centring around 'unity'.
The Conference was based on the installation speech of H.E. The President of Malta Dr George Vella, who was the main speaker in the conference.
Dr Albert Bell, spoke about the national symbols, Dr Katya De Giovanni on social mobility, Dr Maria Pisani on civil liberties and Prof. JosAnn Cutajar on protecting our democracy.
The conference was well attended and the Dean Prof. Andrew Azzopardi also addressed the conference emphasising issues around the ethos of the Faculty that we need to keep democratising our knowledge.
