The Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM – KA171) programme has made it possible for European universities with an Erasmus Higher Education Charter to
apply for funding for student and staff exchanges with universities situated outside the European Union and the European Economic Area.

The International Office of the University of Malta was successful in the KA171 - Call 2022 Round 1 KA1 and was awarded 100% of the funding it bid for. A total of €194,400 will support student and staff mobilities between 1 August 2022 and 31 July 2025 with the following countries:
Western Balkans (Region 1): Kosovo
Neighbourhood East (Region 2): Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine
South Mediterranean (Region 3): Palestine and Tunisia
Russian Federation (Region 4): Russia
Asia (Region 5): India
Central Asia (Region 6): Uzbekistan
Pacific (Region 8): Australia
USA and Canada (Region 12): USA
