Prof.Tamar Dolidze, an Associate Professor at Batumi State Maritime Academy (BSMA) visited the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy (FEMA) at the University of Malta on an Erasmus+ ICM teaching mobility.
She gave lectures on the topics of intercultural project management, cross-cultural communication and effective presentation skills to FEMA students.
A meeting with Prof.Frank Bezzina, Pro Rector for International Development & Quality Assurance, and Dr Emanuel Said, Dean of FEMA, were held to discuss opportunities for future cooperation on the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two institutions. The aim is to further enhance the exchange of academic and administrative staff, as well as developing joint research initiatives and partnership projects.
Moreover, one of the main tasks of the SEA-EU Alliance is to bridge continents through partners beyond Europe. BSMA has been approached and is one of the non-EU universities that has expressed interest to be part of the SEA-EU Alliance.
Prof. Dolidze also held a meeting with the Malta University Language School and with the Marketing, Communications & Alumni Office where student recruitment offers were discussed.
