In October 2023, the Institute for Sustainable Energy (ISE) of the University of Malta will once again be offering an M.Sc. course in Sustainable Energy which is open to applicants with a variety of undergraduate degrees (subject to an interview), in addition to those in possession of a Bachelor degree with at least Second Class Honours in Engineering, Science or Architecture.
The topics covered in the course include Renewable Energy Resources, Renewable Energy Technologies, Energy Efficiency, Energy Regulations, Policy and Economics, Energy and the Environment, Transport and Waste. Other topics such as Research Methods and Project Development also form part of this programme, which is organised in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty for the Built Environment and the Institute of Climate Change and Sustainable Development. The course provides candidates with a holistic picture of the interaction between energy efficiency, renewable energy, transport and other related topics that together make a more sustainable world possible to achieve.
The course may be followed on a Full Time or Part Time (evening) course basis and is eligible for the MEDE ENDEAVOUR scholarship and the Get Qualified scheme.
