The exchange focused on the structure and pedagogical approach of the MSc in Digital Health programme, with in-depth discussions on interdisciplinary curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and the integration of digital competencies into health education. Particular attention was given to how the programme balances theory and applied practice, and how these insights could inform the further development of the same curricula at Heimerer College and across Southeast Europe.
The delegation also shared perspectives from their respective academic and research backgrounds, including work on digital health policy, education innovation, and socially assistive robotics for youth health promotion. The visit fostered meaningful academic dialogue and laid the foundation for future collaboration in joint developmental projects, research projects, and capacity-building initiatives in the region.
The Erasmus+ exchange proved to be a valuable opportunity to connect with international colleagues, reflect on regional needs in digital health education, and strengthen institutional ties in support of a more digitally prepared healthcare workforce.
