Congratulations to Mr Gerald Grech, Senior Lecturer II in Marketing at the Junior College, who scored big at the recently held European Company Sport Games.
These took place in Mallorca between 25 and 29 June 2025.
He was part of the Malta team jointly representing the Malta Employees Sport Association (MESA). This was MESA's 10th time participating in the event which brings working professionals from across Europe to compete, together.
Mr Grech himself won two medals in the 40-50 year old category, and another medal in the overall category.
These were the medals he won:
- Silver Medal in the 1500m in 4:33'91 (1st in 40-50 year category)
- Silver Medal in 5km road race in 17:06 (2nd overall in all categories)
- Gold Medal in the 5k road race (1st in 40-50 year category)
The Maltese delegation collectively brought home 18 medals - a true testament to Malta's determination and exceptional sporting talent.
