Prof. David C. Magri, an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry representing the University of Malta gave an oral invited presentation at the 6th International Conference on Molecular Sensors & Molecular Logic Gates (MSMLG) on 4-5 June in Dalian located in north-eastern China.
Entitled 'Naphthalimide ‘Pourbaix Sensors’: Fluorescent Molecular Logic Gates for pE and pH', the presentation highlighted the current research being performed by graduate and undergraduate students in the Laboratory of Luminescent Sensors and Molecular Logic Gates.
The biannual conference attracted over 180 delegates from over 12 countries. The conference consisted of 15 plenary lectures in addition to over 100 oral presentations and 85 poster presentations on various topics related to chemical sensing and fluorescent imaging.
