The University of Malta is a member of the consortium of Universities running the Erasmus Mundus International Master in Adult Education for Social Change (IMAESC) which won the 2019 University Association of Lifelong Learning (UALL) Award.
This was announced at a special event art the University of Wolverhampton yesterday evening. The overall coordinator, Dr Bonnie Slade, from the University of Glasgow (lead partner) was present as the winner was announced and collected the award. She was present as the IMAESC Course was shortlisted for the Award.
The consortium for this course includes University of Glasgow, Open University of Cyprus, University of Malta and Tallinn University. The course has been given funding for a further four cohorts which will commence after the end of the third cohort currently in Malta undergoing their second semester here. University of Maynooth, Ireland, will join the course from the fourth cohort onward.
