Three evening dance classes are being offered weekly at the Evening Space, an outreach programme now in its third year, supported by the University of Malta School of performing arts. It welcomes a diverse range of dance practitioners, choreographers and artists offering new experiences in dance and movement. Our special platform Dance on the Move has successfully contributed towards the training of professional dancers and dance enthusiasts and created a space for networking artists.
Open Ballet Classes are wonderful for improving posture, balance and alignment. Whether you have never done it before, are a bit rusty, or are looking to stay in shape or keep dance in your life from years of previous training.
Yoga class tailored for dancers for mind and body will introduce you to gentle safe stretching, classical Yoga postures, breathing techniques, visualisation and meditation. A deep relaxation done in tranquil surroundings; sets you up for the week.
Contemporary Dance is one of our most popular, uplifting classes for giving fluidity of movement, and sheer joy! With alternating tutors teaching short routines, impart large flowing movements, as well as more classical and modern phrases.
Dance on the move is a special class for those who wish to explore and challenge further their embodied dance ideas, taught by local and international artists who share their styles, techniques, visions and skills.
