Dr Vanessa Petroni Magri twice ranked first from all applicants, and this year she will be spending a few weeks at the prestigious University of Melbourne, Australia. She will train on specialised airway cell culture models of lung disease, and endpoint assays for molecular models in cell biology.
This opportunity has the potential to enrich future international research network collaborations in fields such as molecular oncology, cell biology, oncopharmacology and research into new cancer treatments.
