UM is participating in the United Nation's 16 days of activism against gender-based violence and domestic violence, a period that runs from 25 November until 10 December.
Ahead of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, which falls on 25 November, the University of Malta is taking a stance against violence.
In the below video, the Marketing, Communications & Alumni Office feature the work of Dr Clarissa Sammut Scerri from the Department of Family Studies, titled 'The experience of children witnessing domestic violence'.
Domestic violence affects all those who are exposed to it. It is clear that exposure to violence places a great burden on children across all developmental ages, as well as backgrounds.
