TrainMALTA is a H2020 training project aimed at increasing the knowledge base at the University of Malta in the fields of:
- high-throughput sequencing (frequently referred to as Next Generation Sequencing; NGS)
- bioinformatic data analysis of NGS data, and
- the application of model systems (zebrafish and induced human pluripotent cells) to further study candidate genes and mutations elucidating their role in disease.
During the first year, the aim of the project is to organise workshops, courses and a summer school focusing on high-throughput sequencing data, data analysis and bioinformatics. These activities will be open to staff and postgraduate students at the University of Malta whose research interests overlap the aims of project . To ensure that we develop an effective and useful training program, we kindly ask interested parties to fill in the online questionnaire.
The questionnaire will be accessible until Monday 29 February and will only take 10-15 minutes of your time. The survey results will be available in March.
